I bought my Honda here back in 2003. When I bought the car I purchased an extended warranty till year 7 that I owed the car. Due to a mix up on the paperwork that I didn’t notice my warranty expired. I purchased the extended warranty that if you don’t use it for the 4 years that you get all of the money back. In my case it was $1,446. Like I said due to mistake on the paper work the expiration date of the warranty was not clear. This was not my fault or the Willy deals, just a computer problem that should have been caught at the time of sale. I have been working with Ron Henson for the last 6 months who was working with signet (the warranty company). Signet had agreed to pay out the policy even though the paper work was not clear. After a few months I had not received the check that I was told was coming. Ron then said that the Willy deal will pay for it and then work with signet to have them pay him back. He didn’t need to do this at all it was not his fault. The reason why I’m sharing this with everyone is because I’m a small business owner and I know how important customer service is. I live in Kentucky currently, and the odds of me ever buying a car in Utah again are relatively small. Ron had to know this, so the odds of getting repeat business from me is quite small, however he still choose to work with me on behalf of signet, even though he would not see any direct increase of sales from this. This shows me something about the character of the people that work there. I am sharing this with you not encourage anyone to buy an extended warranty; but merely to share with you about the most positive experience that I have ever had with a car dealership. If you are looking for someone that will stand with you no matter how far in the future it is when you are buying a car then this is the place to go. I will tell you that if I am ever living in UT again and need to buy a car, this is going to be the only dealership that I am going to go to.
