Their coffee's are good too. And that is certainly what they are known for, but you need to try some of the other tastey drinks that they have to offer.
My family has made it a point that on each visit you have to try something new. And it is fun. We have found some really tastey drinks that you would not think would come from a coffee shop.
This starbucks is also in a good location, an easy place to meet up with friends and chat for awhile.

Krispy Kremes are abundant in every city. When your looking for real made from scratch pastries and breads, this is the place for you. The aroma can be captured before you walk inside and makes your mouth water. Whether you have a sweet tooth or are looking for a fresh loaf of bread you can find it there.
Beyond the breads and pastries they offer a small sit down cafe' (not all locations) to have made to order sandwiches or a cup of coffee.
Everything is baked on site and there are 2 bakes per day. In addition to wonderful donuts, specialized cakes, coffee cakes, and pies are also available.
I would recommend stopping in for any of your bakery needs, small or large, just don't do it on an empty stomach.

I recently went to Roast for the first time, and I really liked it. The person who waited on me at the counter, who I think was the owner, was really nice and seemed really happy....which in turn put me in a good mood too!
This place is great because it totally doesn't have that franchisey Starbucks feel...you might really want to spend some time here reading, studying, or just people watching. I am sure you could sit there for awhile and noone would mind.
I was just in and out but I will definitely be back again soon.

Anodyne roasts their coffee in small batches, right in the shop, in front of your eyes and nose. Without a doubt, this is the best coffee in Milwaukee, but you'll pay for it. Organic blends, espresso, rich drinks, all are delightful. The staff is friendly and tatooed. A popular favorite is the WMSE Blend; a portion of the proceeds go to support that independent radio station. Sandwiches are up to snuff, but the real treat here is in the drink. The shop is small and cozy but the outdoor seating on the sidewalk of Brady Street is perfect for people-watching.

I like these doughnuts from Dunkin’ Donuts positively the most. I think its because they are so sugary most people can’t stand them. They are awesome even if they are a few hours old, unlike the ones from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts which are just harden glazed Ok-ness. If you are looking for something yummy, I recommend these dounughts!

I like these doughnuts, but really only when they are fresh form the bakery. I had a plain glazed one at work when they were cooled down and didn’t see what all the fuss was about. It was only when I had to pick some up for work for winning the Sheepshead game of the week did I have one then and understand the rave for these delights. I only like them in store, other then that, I still prefer donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts.

Here's another great Milwaukee Bakery!
Though my favorite location was their store on Wisconsin Ave. Every morning on the way to school, we'd stop in for breakfast and a paper. Ahhhhhh, everything was soooooo good!
The Lincoln Ave location is where all the magic happens. They make it all here and their cases have EVERYTHING!
Prices are reasonable.
Plus they gotta know what they are doing since they have been in business FOREVER.
This bakery makes the goodies that are shipped to over 300 stores throughout SE WI and Northern IL.
But you are better off coming here and getting everything FRESH FRESH FRESH!
Ahhhhhhhhh. Your families and co-workers will love you!
