I recently went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and his family and I immediately fell in love. Not only is the restaurant's decor and setting beautiful but the food is incredible! We shared several dishes and there wasn't one that I tried and didn't like. I highly recommend their crunchy-honey shrimp and the General Tsao chicken. Everything is good there - you can't go wrong! Best for big groups but great for any number.
Pros: Beautiful setting, Extremely delicious, Friendly customer service
Cons: ONLY Somewhat expensive

El Matador has the best food. The salsa is so fresh filled with lots of vegetables and excellent flavor! It comes out warm...get cheese to put in it! It's delicious! The restaurant is so pretty and always clean. And the owner sure is a sweet man. He always brings our kids treats when we come in! It's the best in town for the price. The pork rio bravo is AMAZING. Yum, yum, yum!
Pros: Most yummy salsa ever!
Cons: None...

I really don't understand the basis of the complaints on this board about Robintino's. The customer service is great! Many of the waitresses have been with Robintino's for several years and are VERY friendly and accomodating. The hostesses are also friendly and the cooks know many regular customers by name and will wave "hello" when they see you from behind the counter where they prepare the pizzas. This friendliness is a hallmark of this locally-owned restaurant. Everyone is made to feel at home.
All restaurants have certain items they charge a little extra for, so what's the big deal paying 50 cents for a cup of sauce? They sometimes do have a bit of a wait (20 minutes or more on Fridays and Saturdays), but that is due to the popularity of this Bountiful icon. The front lobby is fairly spacious with lots of seating for those who have to wait for a table. Robintino's has a wide variety of menu items, not just Italian fare--steak, fish, chicken, sandwiches, soups, salads; and of course--great pizza.
As far as the decor--it has been a while since they had an interior makeover, but who cares? Part of the charm is the familiarity of the place! The atmosphere is cozy, with votive candles on every table, and the center part of the main dining room has a roof-shaped awning that covers the booths which creates a very warm and comfortable feeling. The dining room and kitchen area (I know because I've been back there) are very clean. Tables are bussed very quickly. Large groups are easily accomodated.
The pricing is fair and competitive: two people can easily eat for less than $20--even at dinner. You really get a lot for your money and judging from the number of pizza boxes and take-out containers that are carried out the door, people like the food.
Overall, I think Robintino's is a great locally-owned restaurant. They remain as popular as ever after nearly 40 years in business. That should tell you something about the food and the service.
Pros: LOTS of parking. Cozy atmosphere. Large waiting room. GREAT waitresses!
Cons: Sometimes a long wait on Fridays and Saturdays.

I recently moved to North Salt Lake and a friend told me about cafe Alicia. My wife and I didn't relieze that there was a restaurant in bountiful that had a full bar. There Margaritas and Gray goose
martini's were awsome. The waitress reccomended the prime rib and the Alicia tamales. My wife had the tamales and I the prime rib. Both were delishous. I would recommend this Alicia's to anyone. There menu is vast.
Pros: Great food and service, family owned

I recently went to Paces Dairy Ann in Bountiful and was very taken back by the taste and quality of the food it tasted just like it did 25 years ago when I went there as a teenager!! I asked the owner Todd Pace how could he keep things the same all these years? Todd told me that he will not change or cheapen the quality of the food, things have gone up alot as far as food costs and all operating costs as well, but he said he would rather go out of business than cut the quality. Ive tried most everything on the menu and can recommend almost everything. The Country Boy with cheese, Onion Rings Shakes Rainbows and Tacos are some of my favorites,The place is clean and nostalgic and has that great home town feel. The service always seems to do there best.Paces has been open since 1957!! If you want good food come to Bountiful.
Pros: Its all Good
Cons: cant think of any

My husband and I recently had our reception at the Eldredge Manor. From the beginning we were treated very professionally yet personably. We had some specific ideas that were a little non-traditional for a typical Utah wedding. The staff was more than willing to determine how we could best accomplish what we wanted at their venue, and it turned out fabulously--just like we pictured it. We couldn't have been more pleased. Having a winter wedding, the venue itself was at once elegant and cozy. They have two large gathering rooms and we were able to accommodate about 200 guests at once in the building. The only drawback of its house-like features was that the entry of the house couldn't fit the entire line inside--so some people had to wait outside in the cold. I don't see this being a problem for people who are not sending out several hundred announcements, or who are having their event in the warmer months. For those on a tight budget, the venue "stands alone"--you don't need a lot to dress it up. But for those who want to lavishly decorate, it certainly plays well to that too. The additional services and ammenities are also widely ranged and very convenient. We utilized the limousine service to pick us up from our ceremony location to transport us to the reception. It was great! The staff at Eldredge manor not only arranged it, but confirmed with me that everything was in order. That helped with my stress level! The upstairs area was great for pre-reception primping and prepping. The food was also very good. We chose the soup bar and I have had several guests comment since on how good the food was. Another feature that I really appreciated was the amount of time that we had at the venue. In checking around, the Eldredge Manor offered more bang-for-your-buck. We weren't limited to two or three hours, and that really was great for us. I was very pleased with the entire experience and I would recommend the venue to anyone at any time of the year.
Pros: Wide range of services. Wide range of good food. Beautiful and diverse venue. Pretty much everything.
Cons: Entry way was cramped for fitting in a large guest line. Kind of hidden off the road--but if you include directions with the invitation, it shouldn't be a problem.

My mom and I decided to go to Marcello's last night for our girls night out. We were so pleased with our experience there! The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, and so delightful with their Italian accents. The atmosphere was excellent, and the food was amazing. We decided to get the buffet, and were very pleased with it. There was a great variety of authentic, delicious, freshly-made dishes. I've never been to an Italian restaurant that even offers a buffet, so I was impressed! The owner's and staff were very friendly and warm, making the experience even better! I will definitely be a regular at Marcello's from now on.
Pros: Delicious authentic food, great service, friendly staff, great atmosphere, good value.
Cons: None!

This is my favorite restaurant!!! Such a treasure.... & I'm hard to please. The service is great. The staff is always so very friendly & prompt... They even greet you by name if you're kind enough to provide it. (They remember their return customers!) They treat EVERY customer like you're their BEST customer! The food is no less then DELICIOUS!... The menu is wonderful with very imaginative dishes along with very traditional. Everybody's happy! My personal favorite dish is the Strawberry Chicken (To die for!), but everything I've tried is 100% tastey. Nice, clean, semi-casual (I dress up), usually quiet atmosphere. This is a grown-up restaurant, parents.... Please, don't ruin it for the rest of us. Leave the kids with a sitter.
Pros: Amazing food! Unbelievable service! I would expect to pay a lot more for what I get!
