Businiess name:  United Propane Gas
Review by:  Susan H.
Review content:
This company let my tank I was renting from them leak for two years. Numerous phone calls were placed reporting the leak and they did not respond. It took over 5 months for them to replace the leaking tank. I am unaware of the amount of propane lost over the two year period, but they did not want to compensate for the loss of the fuel. The staff at the Cairo Road office are extremely rude. As a result of me complaining about the situation they are cutting off my fuel supply and taking my tank from me. This company has very poor people skills. Ken Walker and the secretary in the office should be dismissed. There are other people I know who have had the same problem as myself. They are no longer customers of United Propane Gas. I am looking into finding another gas distributor as a result of my situation. It would be cheaper and safer for me to install an electric heating system in my home. I at this point have two of UPG's tanks sitting in my yard. The staff at the office were aware for two years that the original tank was leaking because the driver broke off a bolt on the gage. I was not informed of this when the incident took place. I am concerned at the potential danger I was placed in, because of the gas leaking out. I am also upset at the monetary loss because of gas which escaped and I was not compensated for. I encourage others to find alternate heating if you do business with United Propane Gas or any of their affiliates. Susan Hines
