What a great place to find gifts! Creativity and humor abound, plus the staff is terrific! It's a small shop, but plan to stay for a bit, as it really takes time to absorb the wonderful selection....

I have purchased a few mirrors with borders from this place and my sister have used them to get one side of her bedroom all mirrored. We have always been satisfied with the quality and neatness of work. The salesman are polite and proficient and help you make selections. You can also get nice shower curtains, and other bath accessories from here

More
When you have food allergies and issues and need to buy bread, cookies, donuts and milk all made from rice, it's nice to have a place to shop that feels like a real grocery store. So many times the stores you end up having to go to are small mom and pop places and you feel a little conspicuous. Well, not so at this Whole Foods.
The place is huge. At the very least, it seems huge. The ceilings are tall and the place is well-lit. The produce section is huge, nestled right next to the large bakery section. You then walk right into the fish section where people stand behind the counter are there to help you and the fish at least looks so fresh they are practically still wiggling. They have a humungous section of organic wines that then leads into the dairy sections (or non-dair section in my case). The place is laid out perfectly, is what I am saying.
The employees are helpful and friendly. The checkout lines are well-staffed even on the busiest days. Even the checkout people are friendly and willing to talk to you. They have a large section where you can sit and eat some freshly prepared food as well.
One of my favorites, the Whole Foods in Wheaton is a great place to do your organic food shopping.

More
The nice things about resale shops in this sort of community, is the secondhand stuff you can find is almost always in great condition. I've bought everything from living room furniture, to clothes, to toys here. It's a big store with a nice selection of books and housewares as well. The staff is relatively friendly. Parking in downtown Wheaton can be tricky, but it's worth walking a few blocks for the deals you can find here.

What an absolutely delightful group! Headed off by Chris Wolak, we meet every Tuesday evening 7:30 to 9:00. It is one of the highlights of my week. We started off with Tolle's New Earth, have been in A Course in Miracles, returning to New Earth in January, plus one more book selected by the group every month such as Marianne Williamson??????s The Gift of Change. We are even spoiled with complimentary refreshments from the Cafe! Such fun!

Hancock's is located in a private corner of a strip mall where not a lot of people know it's location. This can be good for the shopper, considering it's never too crowded in this big store. Although I'm not the sewing and craft expert, I saw so many supplies, gadgets, fabrics and patterns, that I lost track of time. This is really a good store for the seamstress! The staff is very helpful and patient, especially when measuring out and cutting fabrics for you. The pricing is the same as any other fabric store.

More
This is a small shoe store for little kids that specializes in wider widths, sizes AND prescription footwear. This is what makes the store so unique. The store has been in business for a little over fifty years and is like a little hidden gem. You don't find too often, this kind of footwear or one on one service at any major shoe store. I do recommend this store if shopping for younger ones.
PROS: Specializes in wide widths and sizes
CONS: None

This is a very nice store to go in. The carry Waterford crystal, hummels, music boxes, clocks and some very nice pieces. It is expensive for me. The owner is very nice and so is the shop.
