I recently enrolled my 5 year old son in this karate academy and he loves it.The instructor is good with the kids and is also comfortable teaching them.He seems to be very in tune with the needs of each individual child.The kids also learn about some important things about life in general such as respecting others,having compassion for others and being honest.At the end of each class the kids get to have a piece of candy.They also tell one good deed they did on that day whcih earns them a "macaroni" which gets put in a jar and once the jar is full they get a karate party.I looked at two karate schools for our son and although this one is a few dollars more I feel that is well worth it.
