Review content:
I recently purchased a house in Saluda that uses propane for cooking and for heating in conjunction with the heat pump. Since we have never used propane before, we knew almost nothing about it. The people at Freeman have been very helpful since my first call to set up the account. Immediately after closing on the house, their driver, Dean, almost beat us back to the house and he put enough propane in the underground tank to hold us over until the system could be completely inspected the next week. When Freeman Inspector, Brian Johnson, came out to do the inspection he took his time, was very thorough and answered all our questions and gave us some great tips on propane usage. He had to replace a regulator on the tank and when he inspected the stove he found that the air-gas mixture was off which was producing a yellow flame and causing soot all inside the oven. After Brian got the flame adjusted to blue, he took the oven apart and even cleaned it with glass cleaner and paper towels. Though not a propane issue, Brian also informed me that the heat pump was still not working, even though a HVAC company supposedly had fixed it before closing. It seems to us that Freeman goes the "extra mile" and we couldn't be happier with our propane provider.
