Businiess name:  Quigley Heating & Air Conditioning

Review content:
The service was OK, but the time between routine maintenance and total breakdown was suspicious. The unit was still in warranty, however the company spent days trying to determine if the part required was under warranty even though they were the company through which the air conditioner was purchased, installed, and maintained. I found the warranty in a few minutes, and the part clearly itemized in the warranty. I had asked for an estimated cost between replacing the part and the whole unit. When I called back on following 100 degrees days, Quigley stated they were still trying to verify warranty information., and then when I went to their office they stated they couldn't get the manufacturer, Trane, to return their calls. While I was In the office they came up with a cost estimate for both options., but not a time frame as the manufacturing company would not reply to their requests, but did say if I signed on the dotted line to replace the unit when a salesman could make it to my unlivable house at the end of the day they might be able to install it the end of the following day. While trying to be at my house I made several calls to reputable Air Conditioner vendors, the majority called me back within minutes with estimates on both repair options. Quigley had even given me the wrong part number for the replacement part. ....maybe that's why the Trane company did not respond to Quigley. Totally unsatisfactory company!!
