Businiess name:  Richards Variety Store

Review content:
I was shopping for a wedding shower gift and thought I might find something fun at Richards Variety store. I'd been to the store in Bulkhead for years but the Midtown store was closer to me at the time. If you looking for something cool you might find it there if you can tolerate the rude manager yelling at an employee as if they were a child.....I don't know if I've ever seen anything so insulting! I decided to go but had already picked up a card and decided to buy a gift somewhere else. As I was standing in line a customer was explaining that she had just bought a toy a few minutes ago and when she opened the box for her son to play with in the car it didn't work...the manager/owner said to her that her son had probably broke it himself and it's not her (the managers) problem and she (the customer) would have to contact the manufacturer. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer is in China.... I gently put the card on the counter, and apologized to the cashier for leaving it there, saying I'd rather not spend my money here and that I hope they are looking for another job.
