Review content:
I have a 1992 Nissan NX - not the most popular Nissan ever made! Too bad, it is a great little car. I am the original owner. Way back in 1999 or 2000, I had a transmission problem and was advised to take it to American Transmission. The car already had around 150,000 miles on it. I fully expected to be told that I needed a new transmission. I no longer remember the name of the technician who serviced my car, but instead of the $$$ I was expecting, he first tried a $100 fix. He said he wouldn't guarantee the work even around the block. No matter - it is now 2010 and the car is over 250,000 miles and I have never experienced another transmission problem. If I did, I would definitely take it back to American's. They could have reamed me and I would never have known the difference. They didn't. They did the honest thing and I have recommended them to any and everyone I have encountered needing an honest transmission specialist ever since. And since then I take both my other cars here whenever there is a problem.\r
