My brother used to tell me how I had to go here because after years of hearing me complain about the outrageous salaries and egos of Chicago baseball teams, he knew I would appeciate the Schaumburg Flyers.
You don't get the drunkin' fools like at Wrigley, you actually get people attending who care about baseball. It's a real treat to see up and coming talent play their hearts out for fans. It's a nice stadium and you don't get that (overpaid) baseball player attitude here, that's for sure.

This is my favorite sporting goods store. I drive far just to go to this one. It is really big and has clothing and equipment for almost any sport imagineable. I can easily spend a couple of hours here. All the brands they carry here are top notch so you get great quality. Also, everything is priced very affordably. Its a great place to go if you want quality stuff and you don't want to have to pay big bucks for it. There's also great specials here every week.

Congo River Golf and Exploration looks awesome when you pass it by in a car, and once you actually go there, you find out that it is awesome. The golf course is really neat, as it's based off of the Congo jungle. There is more than just golf though, there are also multiple arcade games to play. The prices were a bit high, but well worth it.

This is a nice course. They seem to take a lot of pride in the condition of the course and the clubhouse, which is very clean and accessible. They seem to have a goal to always be competitive with other courses in the area and realize that presentation goes a long way toward that end. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Hobby Lobby is a huge store that has everything related to arts and crafts. They have a great selection and they offer competitive prices as compared to Michaels Arts & Crafts. This store looks like a warehouse so you might be overwhelmed by its size, but the store is pretty easy to navigate. They have a framing section along with materials for floral arranging, scrapbooking, painting, drawing, knitting, etc.

This park district has many programs for kids. If you dont have anything to do the park district is the place to go. The programs are really fun and enjoyable. The park district also builds and maintains parks and pools. They recently added new slides to the atcher pool. Great Services.

My kids love this shop. I take them here for any special occassion. It is lots of fun for kids. They thoroughly enjoy the workstations where they can pick out their bear, its clothing, and all the accessories. I think it is a bit expensive for a bear, but the experience for the kids is definitely worth it. It makes kids happy and it is very suitable for a special occassion. Try it out, you and your kids will be sure to love it.

I visited this place with a group of friends and it was pretty smokey inside and it seemed a bit trashy. They did have a lot of pool tables available though, so there wasn't a wait to play. The charge was a lot more expensive than I thought though. They usually have other events going on like contests or karoke nights. There is no cover charge for this place, but you do need to be 21 to get in.
