The doctor was nice here but the soft spoken receptionist lee will not disclose all the charges you need to pay before your appointment and could be tough to deal with and you end up paying much more than you expect and if you do not want to buy lenses from them then she will keep troubling you and will keep saying you can buy from anywhere. If you are someone who cares for how your money is spent, you might want to think twice before going there. How the lenses problem happened with me. I wanted to try colored lenses but being new to the country I did not know that you need the prescription for the exact lenses that you want to try. Long story short she did not inform me any details and they tried one lens on my eyes based on what doctor thought was the best and then they put that information in my prescription without consulting me if that was the lens I was going to buy. I decided not to buy from them because the rate for the same lenses was much cheaper at online store than from them. Then when I went to buy online the lenses of my choice, she rejected the order. On calling her back, she mentioned she never received any call from any lens store for me for any query but the store would tell me that she cancelled so I kept on getting confused whats happening. Then I wrote a letter to her to give me in writing that she never refused my order. Then she calls me back and says she received a call from walgreens. At this point, she tells me i can buy colored lenses of acuvue but not other brands. I asked her that my prescription you gave is acuvue oasis so colored for acuvue will not be rejected ? she said yes that should be fine. I place a new order. And she rejects that too. Probably she wanted me to buy just the acuvue oasis. And for lens wearers, the store would not give you the lenses until your prescribing doctor approves it which is understandable but the behavior is not acceptable. Anyways, now I am going to order the acuvue oasis. I hope she does not find a new reason to reject it. Choose your doctor very very wisely. You are going to be in control of the doctor directly or indirectly for that year for using your insurance. Pros: Doctor is fine Cons: Hidden charges not disclosed prior to exam
