I feel so lucky to be in the metro area which holds the Mall of America. Yes, some Minnesotans are tired of the biggest mall in the US, but not me. I used to live a lot closer and I even worked at one of the stores there at one point.
If you are in Minnesota, you need to stop by. MOA is a spectacular place. (soon-to-be-formerly named) Camp Snoopy is fun for everyone (had a blast with the toddlers this winter), there are stores for everyone and you can even use its inside to get some exercise.
Yes, it can be busy on the weekends and packed during the holidays, so try to plan your visit for mid-week. If the sun is shinning you can still feel the brightness through the many skylights.
