Review content:
Arrived for a cataract surgery. Handed my insurance card to the secretary at the Georgia Eye surgical center, along with the requested $200 co-pay. I asked twice if that was all I'd need to pay for facility and doctor services. She ASSURED me that was all. My insurance would cover the rest. \r \r Within two weeks I received two bills totaling more than $800: one for the facility and the other for the doctor's services. When I phoned they said they didn't take my supplemental insurance and had billed through regular medicare. \r \r That woman had held my insurance card, looked me straight in the eye, and lied to me. My insurance is in wide use so she had to know they don't take it.
