Review content:
Had Plano Plano Automatic Transmission rebuild TH400 that had been run 8k miles. After new clutches were in stalled for $325, transmission faild within one mile. Owner said not his fault as trans had been modified prior to his rebuild. AllTH400 are rebuilt and have updated intermediate sprags and additional clutches for heavy duty applications. After eight phone calls and emails, owner said he did not give a S*^% and did not stand behind his work. Cause of failure was due to the center support snap ring got mixed up with the clutch plate retaining snap ring. The center support snap ring has a tappered edge to bias the support against the opposite mating surface. The intermediate drum and backing plate got togeather and wipped trans out. \r \r Jeff (owner) did not stand behind builder ""Jimmy""'s work and thus I have a wipped out TH400 under one mile. \r \r Stay far far way from this shop. Pros: In Plano Cons: All of the above reasons
