This rink is home to the perinton youth hockey teams. They have 2 rinks, one with nice bleachers and the other one has a few. They also have a small snack bar and a pro shop. Some high school games are played here and they have many open skate times through out the week.

I've been going to this auto service and repair shop for all my maintenance, minor repairs and tire replacements for the last 20 years. In addition to that, they do the inspections on all my vehicles, and the work has been great. We only had an issue once and it was resolved to my satisfaction. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for repair.

You don't find these types of places around much anymore so having one close to home is a plus. I rented a tent and chairs for my wedding a few years ago and various pieces of equipment throughout the years. It's a no-fuss, no-muss atmosphere. Down to earth and friendly staff and great reasonable prices. The equipment is in good shape and the price is right.

Even the existence of this family-owned vineyard and wine maker is surprising. It lies on a hill in the middle between two fairly affluent Rochester suburbs, Fairport and Victor, nestled comfortably between various housing developments, just minutes from the NYS Thruway. In fact, they pride themselves in being the only winery in Monroe County.
Like any good winery, they offer tours and tastings. The tour itself is informative, but the real gem are the award-winning wines. Their American Oak Chardonnay is complex with hints of spices, while their Pinot Noir is one of the driest ones in New York. But for the real treat, spring the $5 for the tasting of Fiori Delle Stelle Vidal Ice Wine, a special vintage made from frozen grapes. The wine is rightfully called a dessert wine, as its sweetness goes well with cream-based desserts.

Today, I'm going to tell you about the best Chinese food in this city. I'ts dispensed at the restaurant called Golden Phoenix in Fairport. (Note that I have eaten chinese food in most big cities in the US, and several places around the world, including China. My opinion comes from serious research for almost 50 years. Also note that I have no participation in the business.) I just love the food I ordered and I strongly recommend this 23-year-old good restaurant.

We are very loyal customers. We not only love the pizza but the bread bowl salads are scrumptious! Our order always comes to the door earlier than the time slot they give us for home delivery - which is a plus and why we order so often. The food is consistent in taste from week to week and the restaurant is clean and organized. The crew is always friendly and down to earth.

You just have to try the sausage! The Artichoke/Mushroom/Provolone is to die for! Saturday mornings are packed, so don't forget to take a number as you walk in the door. You can also get DiBellas rolls here (the ones they use at Tom Wahls) for you burgers and hot dogs. I don't recommend their pre-packed slab bacon. It was flavorless and soggy. I just couldn't get it to crisp up at all. Their Boar's Head prices are the same as grocery store prices and you can't beat BH! The subs are yummy, too. Along with the bakery next door, the Landing makes for must-stop shopping!

This is a small vitamin and health food shop in the cetner of Fairport. I didn't discover it until I was looking for some Nature's Plus vitamins. The shop carries this in addition to other high qualify brands of vitamins and minerals. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and puts out a quarterly newsletter. There are periodic sales as well. It is a step above the franchise vitamin and mineral shops.

This is the local paint and decorating shop and one of the better ones in the Rochester metro area. They have tons of wallpaper to choose from and staff is helpful in assisting you to pull things together. They also have a service that will come to your home to assist you in picking out paint, wallpaper, blinds, rugs, etc. This is at no additional cost. Main brand of paint sold is Muralo, which I've always been happy with.

This store is really great when my son wants a new gameboy game. He can save up $10 and go to get a used game. They work just as well as the new ones they just cost less. this is perfect for the kid that gets bored with thier games easily. They also offer a warrenty on the games so if there is a problem you can take it back and get a new one.
