My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Royal Scotsman at Pinecrest. It was a beautiful setting and the management was very kind. They struck a perfect balance of being helpful without really being noticed. It almost felt like it was our place. With our reception package they cleared out the hotel that night and we had the whole place to ourselves - we could stay in any room we wanted. I don't know if they still offer this situation or not, but it was great. We had the reception, everyone went home (even the hotel owners - I mean we really had the place to ourselves) and then went to bed. We woke to home-made breakfast (the owners came up early to prepare it for us), packed up and drove to the airport for our honeymoon. It was great. I would recommend this situation to anyone.
The main house is wonderful.
