Review content:
After having experienced great Elizabeth Grady salons on the North Shore I immediately made an appointment here in Braintree soon after relocating here. Yes, the receptionist was helpful and able to get me in right away. Hindsight tells me that I should have been worried then. I was appalled to see the first room in which Joanna, my beautician, brought me in. It was barely large enough to fit the lounge chair. Not only that, but the floor was absolutely FILTHY! It was covered in dirt, old wax and mostly just filth! The walls and door were clearly old and also dirty. I was hoping for a brazilian wax but instead I got poked and proded by a woman whose last beauty class seemed to be in 1988 (a framed certificate on the wall told me so). I was horrified all 3 times that Joanna opened the door while I was half way dressed--showing my barelegs and potentially more to the receptionist and anyone in the lobby. She didn't so much as ask me if I minded, or would like a towel to cover myself. At the end of the wax she proceeded to wrap up the paper I had been sitting on--while I was STILL laying on it! She did not so much as cover the lounge chair when I lay back down fully dressed to also get a brow wax. I should have walked out when I saw the floor, but being new to the area I was desperate for their services. Pros: Easy to get an appointment, evening appointments Cons: Dirty, Unskilled employee, Pressure to buy
