My husband and have always loved the Bravo restaurant, both in Homestead and near the airport. A month ago we went to a movie and called Bravo to make a reservation before the movie. We were told that it is policy that they do not take reservations and the wait time starts when you walk in the door. After the movie, we walked across the street and as we walked up to the hostess' desk, another lady walked up and said that she had a reservation. The hostess asked her name and the other girl took her to a table. I told the hostess we were told you couldn't make reservations. She said that perhaps they were busy when I called! She simply asked my name and told me to wait. We waited for 35 minutes and watched 3 other people come in and get seated before us, although they did not seem to have reservations. The girl was very abrupt, close to rude and I assume she let us wait for questioning the reservation policy. While I waited, I used the bathroom and thankfully had tissues in my pocket because there was NO toilet paper in ""any"" of the stalls. Once we were seated, we waited over 25 minutes before anyone came to our table and then she apologized for not realizing we were at her table. What a totally horrible night! Two weeks ago, we stopped at Cheesecake Factory instead for supper. The food was not nearly as good, but the service was better. I feel the whole night at Bravo got off on the wrong foot because of the hostess. She certainly should not be what your restaurant is all about.
