Businiess name:  Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro

Review content:
When visitors refer to Boston as the most European of American cities, this is the kind of thing they mean: a bistro that serves beautiful (but not fussy) food in an elegant (but not formal) setting at reasonable prices. It's located in a small boutique hotel (pretty rooms!), so it serves three meals a day, every day of the week. Interesting, short wine list, good service, and supremely hospitable owners. Gorgeous soups, great grilled and roasted meats (the first proper steak frites I've been served in a town full of pretenders), and elegant updates on classic fish dishes. I haven't yet had a weekday breakfast here, but can vouch for fabulous lunch and weekend brunch menus, too. I wish there was a place like this in my neighborhood. Pros: Very friendly service, Brunch, lunch, dinner, Authentic bistro fare Cons: No bar, Crowded waiting area
