I think that the OWNERS of this restaurant do a great job of writing a review about their OWN restaurant. This must be the case, as this is by far the WORST food I have eaten in a long time. In fact, 2 months later my fiance and I are STILL talking about how gross the food was. First of all the place is always empty.....now i know why! How they can afford the rent is beyond me. I ordered the shrimp stuffed avocado appetizer. It was nasty! The shrimp were rubbery and over cooked, and the ""dressing"" was a ketchup/mayo combination. My fiance ordered a fajita which is normally safe to order because they are so delicious. Well lets just say the manager had to come over to explain it. The platter was not sizzling, and the beef looked like slabs of dog doo. He tried eating it and he said the consistency was that of brisket. The manager said that they do not sautee their fajitas, but grill them and thats why they were not sizzling. Anyway, my point is, DO NOT EAT THERE! Port washington is such a great place that this restaurant is a big waste of prime space. Move on Amigos and stop writing your own reviews! How embarassing! Pros: Nice decor Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE A RESTAuRAnT NEEDS LIKE GOOD FOOD!
