On 8-13-10, we went to Izumi’s for dinner. We had been there a few times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The second last time, we were seated in a corner and ignored by all the waitstaff. After 15 minutes without so much as a glass of water, we got up and left. We waited a few months and decided to try again. We asked them if the service we received the last time was going to be repeated because even though the food is excellent, their service was horrible. The floor manager then said “well, if you don’t like the bad service, don’t come back”. There were several employees up front who heard it and were absolutely embarassed. We asked for the owner’s phone number and they said that she was there and got her for us. She only had two words to say about it, which were “Oh well”. We then said that was fine, we’ll just put this on the internet. Then she had a lot to say all of a sudden, the first words being, “wait, I didn’t say anything”. Too late ….here it is!\r \r \r
