This trendy spot is surely my favorite bakery in JP. While it's homemade treats are to die for, the atmosphere really makes this place unique. I immediately felt at home after walking in to the small venue on the corner of Washington and Green Streets. The vibe is friendly, the atmosphere, hip, and the treats are out of this world! After a tough decision between the triple chocolate croissant and the raspberry pinwheel, I opted for fruit. I was not disappointed. The pinwheel-shaped pastry was flaky with a perfect balance of moist and crunchiness, and the fruit-filled center added a tart, mouth-watering contrast. While the seating area is small, I managed to snag a table. While I sipped my iced Americano, I listened to Beatles music playing in the background and watched the steady stream of neighborhood folks trickle in and out. What's also good to know about this place is that they serve lunch. Their sandwich board was tempting and included cleverly titled options such as the ""green street"" - All natural ham, brie, house-made apple butter, whole grain mustard, and spinach on our own croissant; and ""guac in the park"" - All natural roast turkey, home made guacamole, tomatoes, arugula, and black pepper mayo on rustic Italian. They also serve specialty pizza slices on weekends! So, if you haven't been to this neighborhood bakery and cafe, your missing out on a truly great experience. Pros: Tasty treats galore plus several savory selections Cons: Seating area is small but quaint
