Via Via is a great place to go after a Friday or Saturday night of heavy drinking in Newport. The place is always absolutely mobbed at 1am on weekend nights, not because the pizza is great, but because it's the only place within a drunken walk from the bars. Of course, the pizza tastes great when you're wasted. Try it on a sober morning or afternoon and you will quickly be dissapointed. The crust is chewy, the cheese is rubbery, and the pizza for the most part lacks taste. Also, the staff working behind the counter is miserable...I have yet to hear a friendly word out of their mouths. On the plus side, the location is perfect...hence the rediculous business on weekend nights. Pros: Location Cons: Pizza, Service
