Worst moving experience I have EVER had, and I've moved 8 times before Zoom, including twice cross-country!! If you have nice furniture (we have several Ethan Allen pieces), beware, they WILL damage it. 1 of the 4 movers was very unprofessional. He complained about 1 of the other men to me, meanwhile I'm the customer paying for the 4 men to be there!!!! He whined about the time it was taking to finish the job. And he had a girl friend come visit the site for 30+minutes while he was ""working,"" not appropriate. Lots of damage was done on both ends of the move, including a torn kitchen floor, dented walls, and wood furniture damage. Although damage to both locations was fixed within 5 weeks, you really cant fix furniture damage with wood markers! As we finished unpacking, more and more furniture damage became apparent that just makes me more angry, but there's no use having him come back with markers to ""fix"" it. Our Ethan Allen armoire had only 2 of the 4 screws put in. Who knows where they put the other 2. When I opened the armoire I was shocked by the scrapes and dents on the shelf from when they removed the TV. Whatever happened to lifting and not dragging! I could go on but you get the picture. Seriously the worst move I've ever had. The assurances made by the owner don't mean anything if the movers themselves have their own poor level of quality. Heed my warning..... don't do it!
