My hair was severely damaged after getting it flat ironed and pressed by salon owner Reina Murray. I noticed more shedding each time but nothing outrageous until her last service. My hair came out in chunks the following day. I lost all of the back hair and had short spots througout. The remaining hair had the protein bonds permanently broken from too much heat and was severely damaged. Reina was unapologetic and defensive, stating that my hair ""just couldn't take the heat"". I told her that I had the same service many times at other salons and nothing like this had ever happend. She simply gave me an opened box of conditioner and shampoo that was not for heat damage. I was devastated and near tears, but her ultimate advice as just to talk her to court. I don't even have the emotional energy to proceed, but I do not want anyone to experience the trauma that this shop caused. Please beware!
