Businiess name:  Underground Atlanta

Review content:
We drove around the Underground part of Atlanta fully expecting to get out and do some shopping because several internet sites recommended this as a great historic shopping area. This was at 5 - 6 pm, not yet dark out. There was NO WAY we were about to get out of the car. I am serious, there was a very very dangerous vibe to this part of town. It was crowded, police everywhere, people cruising all over the street almost hitting us... NOT tourist friendly at all. The Atlantic shopping area is the way to go, outdoor layout and great selection of stores! Atlanta, you have to do something about the Underground - the dangerous 'vibe' was a big turnoff and it is obvious that other nearby areas in Downtown are suffering because of the chaos of the Underground. I go to NYC every year, and i have spent time in several other big cities as well and I have absolutely never felt so unsafe as I did driving near the Underground. Pros: shocking Cons: shocking
