I went in for a haircut but as I opened the door and entered Alchemy I realized that I was in for an experience. The space feels like a little oasis with light earthy colors, natural wood framed mirrors, comfy couches and a music that makes you melt away or energizes you, depending in the day. Nercy took her time to ask questions about what I envisioned for my look but more importantly, she asked what I want to feel like, what my lifestyle and daily beauty routine allow for. All of which are so important when you choose a style. Then gently and masterfully she cut away, stopping just long enough to brush her fingers through my hair and play with my new style, making sure that it works just right. My wishes were heard, my cut came out amazing, I was getting stopped with complements on the streets of NYC for weeks after. The best part with the cut Nercy created for me, I am was able to achieve that look and feel of ease and freshness of a new haircut for weeks. And when the time came to trim again, I didn't hesitate for a second, Alchemy was my only choice. I wanted to be in that space again and get the attention I got and walk out with that floating on 7th cloud feeling I got the last time. I did, second time did not disappoint. I highly recommend Alchemy and especially Nercy to anyone who is looking for a haircut they can fall in love with and an experience that will have them coming back for trims more often.
