Being a Coralville resident for over 15 years now, I have found myself on more than one occasion using this library. As my kids have grown up they have joined summer reading groups, been to “story hours” and been active in teen reads and other activities offered by the library. The selection is really nice here….the staff keeps abreast of the newest of books. The shelves are heat, clean and full of many copies of the most favorites of every reading age and one of my personal favorites…the Iowa Suggested reading list books are available on a year long basis and are kept on a separate shelf for the young readers to find and enjoy. In combination with the local schools, the library encourages readers of all levels and offers incentives and encouragement as well. They are in the midst of great re-modeling/addition building project at this time (November 2005) so parking is not as available as usual but I encourage you to be patient. The new addition is going to be wonderful and will offer so much more for the ever growing community that it is in fact worth the inconvenience now, for the vast offerings in the near future. Check out this library and get one of their little “coral” colored cards…and let the reading adventure begin!
