Businiess name:  Seven Seas Trading
Review by:  Cheryl M.
Review content:
Seven Seas Trading Company is an oriental grocery store located in Warren. The downside of this grocery store is that is doesn't look like one. It looks more like a warehouse that accepts shipments. The store is very hard to find, I drove up and down Hoover to find it and their store sign is barely noticeable. The store is a little deeper into Hoover and on the outside, it looks like a warehouse. In the store, there is no organization on where their products are located and it is difficult to find the prices (and in english too). But the upside is they have a HUGE selection of oriental products that are very hard to find in regular grocery stores or international markets and their prices are much cheaper than the other stores. They have all kinds of oriental foods, with large selections of noodles, pastries, juices, sauces and ingredients for sushi. They also have a small section of unique oriental vegetables and they carry the big pound bags of rice. I love jasmine rice and since I eat it so often, I'd rather buy the big bags instead of the small ones in the regular stores. Once you get your feel around the store, it's not so bad shopping there b/c I can find all my oriental ingredients in one store. They also have rice cookers and sturdy woks.
