I went back to the spa on Jan. 15...I had spoken with Valaska (she saw previous review below) and had offered a free massage because she was so upset about my prior experience. I had a major cramp in my neck and wanted/needed a massage sooo bad and I remembered her offer and am I glad I did! What a difference! LOOOVED my robe this time, they have upgraded and I loved how soft it was and I was able to wrap it around my body easily - also had belt loops!!! as for the massage itself - boy what a difference! Mary Ann totally relaxed me with the lavendar aroma and with her soothing my entire body! and she did ""something"" that release that cramp in my neck (felt so good to feel it literally melt away)!!! it was almost instantaneous!!! i will definitely be back and ask for Mary Ann! I opted for just the massage this time, though Valaska did offer the full treatment I had prior, but really I just wanted to RELAX and I easily able to do that with Mary Ann. I did not get a pedi/mani this time, tho the first time, they did a great job and the polish lasted for 3 wks on my hands and 5 wks on my toes...I was impressed! I would strongly suggest to ask for Mary Ann as your masseuse, and I would strongly suggest NOT to ask for Daphne... -----------------Original Review Below---------------- ive had better...way better... I heard about this spa through a TravelZoo promo offering the basic manicure and pedicure for $29 and then also received another ""black friday"" promotion for a ""Ultimate Relaxation Package"" that included a ""European Body Brush Exfoliation, Citrus Aroma Treatment, Massage, Pumpkin Nourishing Body Mask"" . Here's what I got: a robe that was too tight (I'm a size 14) I literally had to force it to close, not to mention there were no belt loops so the belt fell to the floor (no biggie), the body brush was just that a big brush and her brushing my body (maybe the brush brand was european?), the aroma treatment consisted of a spraying on the body and her rubbing it in, the massage lasted for maybe 15 min and the area that I had marked to focus on was maybe 3 of those minute (and then when i did tell the therapist that my neck felt like it was cramping, she sprayed Bio-Freeze on it {which I also inhaled and tasted because it was she sprayed it at my shoulder} and rubbed it in saying my neck was probably out of alignment), the body mask was just applied to my back area for about 5 min. I was then escorted to the nail area and offered a glass of wine. The pedicure was ready with water filled, the chair was awful though. I could not use the roller option because of the noise and the vibration was loud as well as being ineffective. The pedicure and manicure themselves were ok, she was timely and did a good job of shaping and polishing (speaking of, there was about 80 to 100 shades of polish to choose from, and they were pretty conservative colors, few with sparkles and mostly pinks, reds, and corals). I was really let down by the service I received, and agree with a previous reviewer that the front desk service was misinformed and aloof - not friendly or pleasant - both on the phone when I was making the reservation and in person. I will keep my money next time and go to where I normally go and get all this AND a facial for what I paid for today.
