I was extremely disappointed by my experience with Poutous Auto Repair. When I wrecked my car, I took it to Poutous Auto Repair on the recommendation of a friend. I should have just sent the car to the dealership.
Although the hold message I heard for weeks guaranteed my car would be finished by the promised date, Poutous Auto Repair kept my car for more than two months.
During this long wait, I was told that a part had to be shipped in from over seas. Then I was told that my promised part had gone to someone else. Later, I was told that the shipped part was not the correct equipment, and the needed part had been in the U.S. the entire time. But, I would have to wait on the air bag specialist.
When I finally got my car, there were numerous, albeit small, defects in the repair. A slight gap in the bumper, the windshield support cover would not stay on correctly, etc. And even though Poutous Auto Repair had my car for weeks, they still failed to clean the grease from the interior left by the repairmen.
I really wanted Poutous Auto Repair to get my recommendation because I believe in small business. But next time, I will take my car to the dealership for repair.
