Businiess name:  Chez Jean Restaurant Francais

Review content:
I love French food, and having lived in France, I like to think I have a taste for good French food and wine. I am not a snob, and am eager to be pleased when I encounter good food. For my finance's birthday, I suggested Chez Jean, and boy, am I sorry. Upon entering, the place literally smelled of cat litter....and it permeated the whole place. My escargot were stone cold, jelly-like and poorly flavored. The onion soup was flat and flavorless, the tenderloin of beef so overly sauced and thickly seasoned that it could have been a roofing shingle. The only non-disappointment was the chocolate souffle, but we took that to-go because of the offensive, stifling odor and stuffiness of the interior dining room. What a grotesque disappointment...go to Applebee's and save your money. If this is Mr. Huckabee's homage to French cuisine, he needs to take up needlepoint.
