In 2004, I contracted with a law firm to pursue a patent on an unique invention that I had spent several years developing. After a couple of years of patent application work and significant expense, that attorney advised that it appeared my product was not patentable. I then contacted Rand Bateman who carefully evaluated my invention and the previous patent work. Rand clearly saw the unique value of my product and the problems that it solved. He presented me with his strategy and recommendations on how to proceed. I contracted with Rand and he very skillfully and with great diligence navigated the issues that were being presented to us by the patent examiner. Because of Rand's experience and expertise, I was able to successfully obtain a U.S. Patent and start a local business that manufactures and sells this new innovation. Rand was great to work with and always presented me with honest information and assessments throughout the process. He continues to provide exceptional service as we apply for additional patents, trademark protection and contractual agreements. Rand truly helped me become successful with my venture after others had advised that it could not be accomplished. I am very grateful to Rand and his staff for their expertise and excellent work. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend their services!
