Review content:
Over the years I've had massages in a variety of environments from physical therapist's offices to Aveda salons and beyond....and my massages from Josh beat all other professionals, hands down. The environment at Sabai is soothing and peaceful without being too clinical or retail-y. Josh and the other staff at Sabai radiate a capacity for compassion and healing that, coupled with the environment, begin the process of slowing down and feeling better as soon as one walks in the door. I have had many massages here over the past year plus since I found Sabai, and I don't see the need to go anywhere else. The treatment rooms are clean, lovely, vibrant, unique, and peaceful. The treatment oils, teas etc. available at Sabai are wonderful, fragrant, and natural. Josh's massages are a unique combination of ritual and good old-fashioned elbow grease that always leave me feeling centered, relaxed, and frankly--beautiful! I highly recommend the "raindrop," which I believe has a new name now but it involves the systematic application of a series of oils on the back, coupled with massage and gentle heat to clear the mind and soul, soothe muscles, and detox the body--and it works. When you get up off of the table, as well as for several days after? You will feel...amazing!! Pros: atmosphere, value, service, kindness, parking Cons: ...that i can't go more often. :-(
