Having to pay a $20 cover each on top of a $200 dinner is a little frustrating. But we did it to get the whole experience. The roof top bar is a great space with good music and accessible heat. The number of VIP areas is a little obnoxious. By midnight only 1 of the couch areas on the west side of the roof was being used. The lounge is beautiful. But the dancer set-up is horrific! Dancers can add a lot to the aesthetics of a club. They should be beautiful, pleasing to the eye and inspire the atmosphere. The dancers are more like circus freaks. The only inspiration they could provide was for eating disorders and Michael Jackson moves. We saw a girl on the roof who looked like an anorexic, epileptic belly dancer. And all three girls we watched in the lounge had horrible jerky moves and costume/hair malfunctions. The fact that they are so close to me and my drink made me weary of a health hazard. Having them dance on the table is an interesting concept, but they should be properly dressed for such a close encounter. Every single costume was misfit except the one on the epileptic belly dancer- from the sandals to the belts flipping around on the tops to the top bunching up under their breasts. The downstairs club was the worst of the environments. The dry ice gas coming down in front of the back stairs made me choke. It?s reminiscent of the old Bitter End that used that regularly through out the night to cool off the dungeon. What are they covering up? It?s not an ugly area, so why cause a dry throat and irritated eyes upon my entrance? The thought of spending a portion of our evening in a gas chamber was scary. The lighting is a disaster. Every single light on the ceiling is positioned to shine right in my eyes. I definitely get the feeling like you invested in the roof and first floor and then the basement was an afterthought. Get rid of the powdery clouds and fix the lights and it will be a great match in the trio of environments.
