Review content:
Last night I had an appetizer and a beer there. My total charges including tip came to 21.89. When I got home I looked at my bank statement online to see that I had 2 $25.00 charges from Sharkeez. I contacted them and asked them to remove one of the charges. They said it was a pre-authorization charge and that it would be removed in 3 days. I explained that no one informed me of this and that I would have used cash if I'd known it. I also went back to the bar to ask them to remove the charge. They refused and showed me a slip they asked me to sign authorizing the charges. The slip of paper has in large letters across the top, "Win A VIP Happy Hour Party...." And below it asks you to give personal information to win the party. Between that and the form for your information in small letters it explains the pre-authorization charges. No one tells you that you need to read this. No one explains this to you verbally. I think it's a sleazeball practice and they should be upfront and tell thier customers that they need to read that section of the form, or verbally tell them about the $50 in pre-authorization charges. Pros: Ripoff Cons: Ripoff
