Gil's is located just off of the Square in San Marcos. By day it is a burger joint, but at night, it is also a prime drinking spot. Daily specials are offered. Monday and Thursday from 5 pm-close are $1.25 burgers and $1.00 beer. You can't beat that! Although the building gets hot and stuffy because there are so many people there, it is also a great place to meet people and talk. Sometimes there is live music in the outdoor area. All ages are welcome. Bring your id because you never know if they'll be checking at the door or not the day you go. If you are of age, you will be asked for your id upon trying topurchasing beer.
