All of the puppies at Pet Connection are purchased from puppy mills. At the store they are all on cough medication because they have bordatella - kennel cough. We purchased our mini dachshund from them and took her to their "recommended" vet. He gave her a lot of antibiotics, but her cough did not go away. They continued to give me more and more, but it never helped. In the end she ended up contracting pneumonia from it and I spent over $4000 at 4 different vets, including UCDavis, to get her over her illness. She spent the 1st four months we had her at vet offices. We brought all of this and the story to Pet Connection and they told us it was our fault because we went to a different vet than the one they recommended. We went to a different vet because theirs could not help our puppy. We later researched her breeder and the breeders of their other puppies and found it was a puppy mill in Virginia. Please do not buy their puppies and support the evil puppy mills.
