I would say that I pretty much exclusively see movies at an AMC theater over any of the other theaters like Edward's or Regal. One of the main reasons is that AMC has a MovieWatcher card that gives you points for buying movie tickets, which in turn, give you free popcorn, soda, and even movie tickets. Every ticket you buy earns you two points, and you get something free for every 10 points you have. It's a great program. I also like this location because it's located inside Santa Anita mall, so you can go shopping either before or after your movie. You just have to deal with the hassle of parking, which can be a headache, especially on the weekends, so plan ahead so you don't miss your movie (or the previews).

Winter racing begins at Santa Anita park on December 26th. I'm looking forward to going a couple times this season. It is a really attractive an elegant track, and it is right next to the beautiful L.A. County Arboretum. One fun tip, if you go early in the morning you can go for breakfast and watch the horses workout with all the trainers and the jockeys hanging out around you. Almost as fun as a day at the races. I stood at the fence next to Bob Baffert one morning while he was watching a race and talking about politics. Funny.

The John Waltrip’s Music Center is a pretty nice center. There’s a wide assortment of pianos displayed in the showroom on the main floor. They also sell other instruments like brass instruments such as saxophones and string instruments like violins. They generally cater to the local musicians. A lot of their lower end equipment isn’t very good, but if you drop some extra cash, you can find a quality instrument. They also provide music lessons.

Action Arcade is a small place on the corner of Duarte and Second Ave. in Arcadia. It is situated next to a Tapioca Express and a yogurt shop, so it’s a great place for kids to go. They carry a wide variety of arcade games, ranging from fighting games to racing games to puzzle games. They actually added a “PC café” for lan gaming.

More
Santa Anita is located just up the street from the famous horse racing track that shares the same name. This scenic course is situated just below the majestic San Gabriel Mountains. However, since the natural surrounding terrain is flat, man-made mounding was added to create many uneven lies. Mature pine and oak trees line each of the narrow fairways. Although there are no water hazards (with the exception of a flood control channel that play as out-of bounds), there are many strategically-placed sand bunkers. Additionally, this course's large greens are sloped. One of the most difficult holes on the course is #18, a 435-yard, par 4, which requires a massive tee shot over some large mounds up a dogleg right fairway, then a long approach shot to the green. Senior discounts are also available, but only with an L.A. County Seniors Card. The driving range is lit during the week only.

I would go bowling with my friends at this alley quite often a few years ago. The bowling alley is clean and fun to play at. They even offered a promotion card and I got a few games for free each month. You can play by the hour or by the game, which can fit anybody's needs. I don't know how much shoe rentals are, but that's because I bring my own bowling shoes. Many bowling leagues are often there, so it is a fun environment to be in. Their snack bar has really good french fries and onion rings.

When I first entered this store, I thought it was a craft shop that had mega low prices. It turns out that the prices are more expensive then that of some other places. The staff that work there are mostly old elder folk so you feel bad in yourself when you have to ask them where everything is.
