6/19/07 My dog just died last night 2 weeks after visiting Shamrock Animal Hospital for annual check up and booster shots. She was a 10 year German Shepherd in good health prior to her last visit. She was given a clean bill of health and we were told to watch her like normal after her shots. Well she did feel a little under the weather a couple days after the shots and we were contemplating bringing her in but it seemed like she felt better and was more active in the last couple of days so I put off and now I'm crying and wishing I would have brought her in, I can't believe she's dead!!! She's never had a reaction to any shots before so either they missed something in her last visit or they administered her shots wrong or gave her something in error but either way she's gone. This wasn't the first time we've had problems with the hospital their attention to detail has been poor, they've cut her nails to short causing her to bleed they've run tests on her before the doctor saw her, along with other details.
Goodbye my girl, my best friend I'll miss you and always love you!!! XOXO I’m sorry I never got to say goodbye and wasn‘t there with you when you passed, I‘ll never forgive my self for not doing a better job taking care of you and not being there for you in the end!!!
