YES! OMSI is both all the time! Located on the beautiful Portland waterfront, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a two story interactive classroom/museum catering to all ages from young to old.
Omsi has a huge OMNIMAX theater where the whole roof is the movie screen and they show fascinating short movies on subjects ranging from rock climbing to the swimming at the bottom of the ocean, rainforests to Antarctica.
They have rooms full of themed, hands on exhibits and labs on various topics such as dinosaurs, human development, the earth, gravity, gross body functions, etc.
The motion stimulator is also a great experience, twisting and turning you on many great adventures.
