Great for large parties if one arrives early and picks a non-rush hour time. I'm a big fan of lobster and shrimp and feel that they've got good seafood for a decent price. Have had fresh lobster on the East Coast but it still can't beat Red Lobster's Seafood Feasts. Not to mention those lil balls of crumbly garlic cheese goodness they call biscuits. Call about large parties, often they have a back room for rental or can accommodate a party over 15.

They've got a fridge full of snack food, and a very nice spa and backyard patio. The bathrooms rival some 4 star hotels, and come complete with the thickest bathrobe one will find. Rent a video like Interview with a Vampire, and arrive back in your room to find it waiting with microwave popcorn! Rooms running from $50-$150, this place is perfect for exploratory ventures into one of the weirdest towns on earth.

I didn't have anything against them before, but was unaware of the beauty of simple French fare. The sandwiches are to die for, especially if you spend the extra buck or so for a croissant. Omelets and Crepes, Excellent. Tarts and Pastries, very good. Best Dijon mustard, of course. Coffee to finish it off and you'll understand what it means to be SATED and satisfied. People practically purr upon leaving!

The bartenders are flirty, friendly and ready to throw down should one slander the Irish. The patrons are eclectic mix of grad students, the newly professional and long term locals. One of the best and only places in Los Angeles where you can walk in alone and have friends by the end of the night. Comfortable locale with pool table and house furniture for seating. Books for reading also lie about and above on bookshelves. Pretty awesome beer selection, live music and great buffalo wings too!

My car was recently "smoking" from an overfill of oil, unable to make it to my regular mechanic I stopped by the local Pep Boys SuperCenter (a full garage AND a Pep Boys store). Laurence and the other decent guys over on Pico will stick around after hours just to make sure their customers are taken care of! A big thanks for making sure I didn’t die of smoke inhalation, it rocks that you kept the shop open and charged me next to nothing!
