Every now and then we decide to give Applebee's another chance. Unfortunately 95% of the time we are disappointed. The service has been consistently slow regardless of the level of activity in the restaurant. Servers are generally friendly, the menu has lots of variety and the prices are reasonable. However, it has been a rare occasion that we haven't had something wrong with our order. I don't bother ordering steak here anymore because they have never cooked it properly. I really enjoy when they have the $13 deals with an appetizer, entree, and dessert (this is when we generally decide to try again). The most recent visit, I ordered the spinach dip and was never brought anything to dip into it with, even AFTER asking twice and AFTER my entree was brought out. What a waste. The raspberry cheesecake is yummy, though!
