Yorktown lanes is located on Pearl Rd, next to East Coast Custard. It is quite a large bowling alley, but it is often crowded beyond capacity with a wait. Also, they have some strange hours as the reviewer before me said. It's not as grimy as some bowling alleys, but can be quite smoking. They have a "Rock and Roll" bowling night, but I don't remember what happens then. The food at the snack counter is also pretty good, and inexpensive if I remember correctly. I know there is also a room to play pool, and I am pretty sure they serve beer, seperate from the bowling area. Recommended, as long as you don't mind smoke and very late hours.
