There is so much to see in this area, it can take all day. There is the zoo, aquarium, gift shop, rose garden, Kidz' Zone, and I really like the Humpty Dumpty site. There is a multitude of stuff here, and I cannot remember them all.
In the zoo, I especially liked the naked mole rats. Cheap thrills.
For walking outside of the zoo, there is no charge. How nice is that?

This hair salon does wonders. It is located in an L-shaped strip, but has easy access off of Silverdale Way. There is good exterior signage (on the storefront), and ample parking. Once inside, the salon appears upscale and inviting.
The staff do wonders with their hands. Plus, they love to share their knowledge with customers. They appear genuinely concerned about helping their customers obtain wanted results.
Prices are kind of high, but the quality of service received is worth it. Plus, it is a locally owned business.
The owner is heavily involved with the community and is a pleasure to deal with.

Food is elegant, delicious, and well presented. The interior here is upscale and welcoming. Service is 'with a smile' and staff are knowledgeable about menu items.
Special requests are welcomed. Prices are rather high, but that is to be expected here. It is worth it for a special occasion.
I know ownership to be community involved and willing to help nonprofits.

The food is fantastic and comes in ample portion sizes. One price includes a full course meal from salad to dessert. How nice. Prices are reasonable.
