Kickingbird theaters. Those two words set many a middle-schoolers' heart a flutter. A lot of first kisses happen here. This theater is strictly for the the 15 and under set, with parents dropping their kids off steadily every Saturday and Friday night. It is cheap though: 5 bucks with your student ID. But they gouge you on the popcorn and soda; bring your own snacks. Also, it is so annoying, but they ask you for your license for R rated movies if you look even remotely underage. So bring your ID kids. Overall, its not a great a movie-going experience as AMC, but a heckuva alot cheaper, if you don't mind those obnoxious 13 year olds running around.
