NYU studnets can get a special price as 18% off for apple powerbook series. Also, apple peripherals are much cheaper here! (might mouse for $44+tax) Besides powerbook, they also provide student special for printers of specific types. Moreover, if you are interested in making circuits, you can also find some electronic stuff here which are mainly provided for ITP students, such as: breadboard, pic, resistor, adapter, stevomotor, LED, switch, etc. Or you can get a ITP student pack (physical computing kit) instead of buying stuff separately and of course, all the prices are much lower than Radioshack!
