We used them a few years back. They played games with our pricing. We dropped them and went to Chemlawn. UGH! We dropped them quickly and returned to Lawn Tech, as they agreed to readjust our pricing to where it SHOULD be. They play games with pricing, it seems, as all of our neighbors talk to each other and several of us are now back in the market for a new lawn care company. The yards out here are all filled with GRUB WORMS! Not there fault, but they did not find them, either. We called them out to check our lawn since their Aug visit said all was fine with our lawn, yet to us is appeared to by dying in spots. No mention of GRUBS until we called them out and found them.
Dissappointing to us. We had higher hopes.

I checked out three other orthos and then a friend told me about Dr. Sonneveld. Since I was NOT impressed with any of the others, or one in particular with her HIGH-PRICED waiting room full of Chuckie-Cheese arcade games, we went with Dr. Sonneveld.
He's awesome and worth checking out.

Okay, you may be surprised when you first meet him. He is a little man and is older. What you don't know, and may not figure out, is his real age. The man aged gracefully. Lines in his face and all, he is in his mid 70's. Smart, too. You may have to wait to see him in his waiting room for an hour, or so. Then you wait in his office room, too. Dr. Mandrea is worth the wait, I think.
Nice bedside manner. Never tried to sell me stuff and always works with me. He is wonderful, and an inspiration that aging can be graceful and you are still useful after 65 (retirement age). I'd choose him over any botox-happy dermatologist any day!!

Cub Foods used to be there. Cubs was nothing great, but it was close by. Wasn't sad to see them go, but never heard of Eurofresh. Decided to stop in today. Not overly busy was my first impression....

Wanted to give it a real try. Walked around with my cart, and ended up being QUITE surprised. Pricing was not bad, I must say. They even carried products that I purchased soley at Whole Foods at cheaper pricing.
Their meat dept had some VERY impressive cuts, and at TREMENDOUS pricing. I had to buy some of their veal cutlets. At $7.99/lb it was fresh and just a terrific price.
The cashier told me they are family-owned, and have one other store in Peotone, so no wonder I have never heard of it.
I'd recommend you take a peek. I saw on the ad (the gal gave me one, as I did not know that they have one) that they have a website.

They really DO have aisles loaded with products from all over Europe. They even have an ORGANIC aisle.

Today we used the painting services of Joseph's Painting Service out of Orland Park. Joe, the owner, was a very nice man, and we had had 3 total estimates. His was by FAR the lowest. I called a...
Today we used the painting services of Joseph's Painting Service out of Orland Park. Joe, the owner, was a very nice man, and we had had 3 total estimates. His was by FAR the lowest. I called a neighbor for reference, as Joe had pointed out that he had painted their house (inside, ours was exterior, only).
She indicated that he was a very good painter, and had a very good crew.
He showed up early in the morning, and had the job wrapped up within a few hours. (Wasn't a huge job, just doors and trim work.)
The work seems fine, and they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them, at this point, but with a reminder to always get estimates for comparison. If the paint peels prematurely, or we find any problems, I will edit this post for sure!

I was on them the 18th of June, and the estimated date was the 16th for repair completion, so KUDOS to the FPDCC for getting the job done on time.

I just WISH they would patrol their woods more frequently, AND have a MUCH better mapping system. It's HORRIBLE. THe woods are VERY heavily used, no doubt. It's ridiculous. They should have MAPS where ever there are intersections!! We know our way around, but it's not that we did not take time to learn that.
Hey FPDCC... here's a shout out to you...
How about signs like "LaGrange Road this way", or "Horsetail this way" Stairs this way".
How HARD is that?
Can't believe if you guys have never heard that suggestion before. I hear it meeting up with others on the trails, for Pete's sake!!

When we got our Labradoodle, we were quite unsure where to go. I spoke with several people, and heard nothing be GREAT things about Bremen Animal Hospital. The Bremen Veterinarian is in Tinley Park. They are nice and accommodating. I have cat allergies that are life-threatening, so for me I cannot step foot inside a vet. They meet me, if I must go alone with our pooch, in the parking lot. They are so kind, our pooch for the past year, has been nothing but well-cared-for!
Two thumbs up for Bremen Animal Hospital.
