If went and tried Linda Bui (my sis has been going to her for years), she is super , does great highlights, for the first time in DC (other cities seem to know more what I want) she actually did what I asked and gave me dark gold highlights with chestnut lowlights. Everywhere else (and I mean super expensive salons) no matter what I asked for (brown reddish etc), I always ended up with whitish blonde highlights. they always bleached my hair (unless you want to go blondish only lazy hairstylists use bleach for highlights and then cover their mistake with color or toner) . She also does super super nice layered cuts.

I went to the top recommended person for highlighting and I wanted to go darker on my highlights and he only got me blonder. On top of that I ended up paying $45 extra for this gloss he put on my hair to make it softer after the highlights when I specifically said I don't want it and he basically made me get it and charged $45.
I left my fur gloves there and I realized this when I got back to the office since it had gotten warm. I called and asked the guy at the reception to check the back and see if I left it there (would have taken 30 seconds) and he simply said no he's too busy. So I had to go on my way home to check MYSELF and thank fully they were there.

Their food is very uniquely presented, excellent quality and fantastic papaya salads. They have the best rice as well that comes in different colors (green tea rice is green, coconut is brown). It's my favorite and I've been to almost all Thai restaurants in Washington.
